Corrections Policy

How WashCareLab records and communicates material corrections.

What counts as a correction

A factual care recommendation, source attribution, calculation rule or material wording change that could alter a user decision should be reviewed as a correction rather than silently treated as cosmetic copy editing.

What happens after a material issue is confirmed

The affected page can be moved to needs_review, removed from future indexing eligibility, corrected in the structured source of truth, and rechecked. Resolved public corrections can be recorded below.

Minor edits

Spelling, grammar, formatting and clarifications that do not change the meaning of the guidance may be updated without a public correction entry.

Resolved correction log

No resolved public corrections recorded

The correction workflow is active so material factual changes can be recorded rather than silently overwritten.
